Christmas Market 2024
On the 17th November 2024 we had an Open day with a Christmas Market inside the museum. We would also like to thank Rhea Varker of Rhea’s Bespoke Bakes, and The Island Strummers Ukulele & Singers band for supplying the entertainment for the day.

Museum Birthday Bash 13th October 2024
On Sunday 13th October, we held a Birthday Bash to celebrated 3 Brithdays at the Museum, The Museum was officially formed in 1979, making it 45 years old.The building was originally built in 1934, making it 90 years old.The Museum’s Bristol K5G, JVW 430, was built in 1944, making it 80 years old. Heritage Event
On the 15th September 2024 we had a Heritage Event, including a visit from Castle Point Borough Councils, Deputy Mayor and Mayoress, Barry and Deborah Campagna. Our visitors were treated to music from a Ukulele band and dancing from a couple of local young ladies. We also had a craft market inside the museum.

Open Day 21st July 2024
Today we had an Open Day with a Craft Fair inside the museum and our treasurer showed off his new model railway.

EBEG Visit 30th June
We had the pleasure hosting a special open day for some members of the Essex Bus Enthusiasts Group. They got to ride on 4 of the museum’s exhibits.

Today we had a Craft Market inside the musuem and a visiting Ukulele band playing for us. 2 of our vintage buses ran the bus link today The Ukulele Band

Easter Egg-travagancer
The museum opened for the first event of the 2024 season with an Easter Egg-travagancer. Easter Sunday saw hundreds flock to the museum looking for the hidden easter eggs. Castle Point Mayor Barry Campagne, Town Mayor Elaine Harvey, Rebecca Harris MP and Ray Howard MBE all paid a visit. Wonder if they found the easter…
