It was very scary when the pits were overflowing and it was probably the safest place to be in the flat above where we lived . My dad Bill Windsor was in charge of the garage . I was born there in 1949.
Loved living in the flat and spent many hours in my dad’s office. I even worked for Eastern National in Southend in the office
