PTW 110 was delivered new to Eastern National between May/Nov 1950. It was assigned to the Essex depots of Prittlewell, Southend Pier Hill, Harwich and Clacton during its career. It was retired from Eastern National in June 1963 before being sold on to Shephardson Coaches, Barton on Humber in January 1965 and subsequently companies named Twell, Glentwell and Scottish Farms who used it for staff transport. In 1973 it was purchased by the Eastern National Preservation Group and during that year the front end of the coach was reframed, the saloon door and sliding roof were replaced and this was due to extensive wood rot. In April 1977 PTW 110 entered a period of storage for many years before being purchased by the Mara family in September 2003. During that period there has been extensive renovation work carried out to the coach resulting in the present condition you see here today.
