Paint Your Wagon
We had visits from local dignitaries such as Town Mayor Elaine Harvey and Deputy Peter May. Ray Howard MBE and Castle Point Mayor Lindsay McCarthy-Calvert. As well as viewing our stalls and displays everyone had a look at our new mural and some children entered our Paint Your Wagon Competition.
The Paint Your Wagon Competition will be judged in October by Town Mayor Elaine Harvey and our artist in residence Maggie Rose. The prize winners will receive a goodie bag and be treated to a trip round the island in one of our vintage buses.
Our visitors were also treated to music from our local U3A choir and a Ukulele band. The acoustics were very good in the old garage.
