On Thursday the Town Mayor Elaine Harvey and our Artist in Residence Maggie Rose met up with members of the museum’s committee at the Town Council offices for the difficult task of judging the entries to our Paint Your Wagon Competition.
After much discussion winners and runner-ups for each aged group were decided. The photo above shows the two judges Town Mayor and Artist with the museum representatives Janet Walden and Marian Patten. They are holding the three winning entries.
The winners and runners-up have all been invited to the prize presentation in November.
Well done to all the children who sent in pictures. Sorry you could not all win.
