Museum Birthday Bash

We are celebrating a few birthdays this year.

The Museum was officially formed in 1979, making it 45 years old.

The Bus garage/Museum buildings was originally built in 1934, making it 90th years old.

The Museum’s Bristol K5G, JVW 430, was built in 1944, making it 80 years old.

We are arranging a special day with a 1940’s/50’s/60’s/70’s/ 80’s & 90’s theme.

We will have a Craft Market inside the Museum, with live music and dancing.

Come in your favourite style of 40’s – 80’s fashion, Prize for the best two.

We will also have a visiting Vehicle show on Labworth Green, with a link bus service between the Museum and the Monico on the seafront, just to the east of Labworth Green. Please note that these are Vintage Buses so pushchairs will have to be folded and taken inside with you.
