DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nWe are having an spooky open day with Craft Stalls this Sunday\, 12th October 10.30 to 16.00. We will also have some visiting classic Rover cars at the museum.\nPlease come and visit us and take a look at our collection of vintage vehicles and displays.\nWe can only allow blue badge holder parking on site\, on a first come basis\, as space is limited. So please park at the seafront and we will be running a free bus link\, with one of our vintage buses from the bus stop opposite the Monico bar\, on the seafront. Bus normally leaves the museum on the hour and half hour and leaves the Monico at 10 & 40 minutes past the hour. As these are vintage buses we can only carry pushchairs that are folded and can be taken inside the bus with you. The first bus will leave the Monico at 10.40.\nWell behaved dogs on leads are welcome.\nIf you are parking near the museum\, please park in Canvey Island Football ground car park\, first right after you pass the museum and not on or across our neighbours driveways\, thank you.

DESCRIPTION:  \nFor the first open day of this year\, we have the pleasure of having the Canvey Island band “The Long Run” playing for us during the day. \n  \n \n  \nThe following Bio is from the groups website http://www.the-longrun.co.uk/Biographies.aspx \nThe Long Run hails from Canvey Island\, Essex\, in the South East of England. The group itself consists of long term friends Darren Jones\, John Cordon\, Ryan Love and Gavin Jones\, who have been playing and performing music together since their school days.\nThe band formed in 2005\, with Darren as the lead singer\, guitarist\, saxophone & harp player\, John as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist\, Darren’s brother Gavin on bass guitar and Ryan Love on the drums. \nThe Long Run have written and recorded their own studios albums releasing a new album every couple of years. The band have continued to perform all over the U.K. at countless venues and festivals playing there mix of hard rock & roll & rythym & blues

Please note that these are Vintage Buses so pushchairs will have to be folded and taken inside with you. \nEntries for the Vehicle show close at midnight on Wednesday 9th October. \n
