DESCRIPTION:  \nFor the first open day of this year\, we have the pleasure of having the Canvey Island band “The Long Run” playing for us during the day. \n  \n \n  \nThe following Bio is from the groups website http://www.the-longrun.co.uk/Biographies.aspx \nThe Long Run hails from Canvey Island\, Essex\, in the South East of England. The group itself consists of long term friends Darren Jones\, John Cordon\, Ryan Love and Gavin Jones\, who have been playing and performing music together since their school days.\nThe band formed in 2005\, with Darren as the lead singer\, guitarist\, saxophone & harp player\, John as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist\, Darren’s brother Gavin on bass guitar and Ryan Love on the drums. \nThe Long Run have written and recorded their own studios albums releasing a new album every couple of years. The band have continued to perform all over the U.K. at countless venues and festivals playing there mix of hard rock & roll & rythym & blues

SUMMARY:Easter Open Day
DESCRIPTION:  \nAs well as all our Vintage Vehciles and displays\, we will be having the craft market inside the museum\, \na Raffle\, a Scavenger Hunt and hopefully a visit from the Easter Bunny. \n  \nThere will also be music provided by canvey’s own Rhea  from Rhea’s Bespoke Bakes. \n  \nWe will have a vintage bus running a link between the museum and the seafront opposite the Monico and would ask visitors to park at the seafront and catch the bus\, this is free\, as there is no parking at the museum.
